The Battle of the Dr. Pepper Bottle

I had this Dr. Pepper bottle that absolutely would not open. I tried pliers. Bruce gave it all he had. It just wouldn't budge. Somehow I think the plastic lid had welded itself to the bottle.

So, I got serious about it.
