Bruce and I had our final class last night. We both had a lot of fun these past 4 weeks, but we discovered that we are way too white for salsa dancing. I did finally get the fast spin move down in our final session. The teacher's dance partner lady came over and showed me why I was having so much trouble.
They offered continuing lessons at their studio, but we passed on that. We're planning to attend the post class party at a local Mexican restaurant with a dance floor. That will likely be the end of our Latin dance career.
However, we've been catching the last 10 minutes of the Swing class that was right before ours. Now that's a white-folk's dance! We're planning to sign up in the Spring.
