My Week At Math Camp

I had the opportunity to attend the College Board AP Summer Institute this week. I have to admit, I was mildly interested, but not thrilled about the idea of giving up a week of my Summer break.

The experience turned out to be most excellent. We worked on problems, watched Nova movies about Archimedes, played with Geometer's Sketchpad software, worked more problems and even made up our own problems. We were a room full of total math geeks just doin' our thing for a whole week.

It was so much fun, I started calling it "Math Camp".

And let me tell you something. This is a very cool thing I never knew before Sketchpad...

BUT! This is even cooler...
It's a math thing. Just trust me. It's pretty darn awesome.
