When the last bell rang, I decided to prove it to myself. Algebraically. For every rectangle inscribed in a square. Yes, this is my idea of fun.
Unfortunately I was busted by a fellow math teacher. When I told her what I was working on, she laughed at me and then took this picture.
The nice arrow above my head was her idea.
